Job summary

Risewave Consulting, Inc. in Manila seeks an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a strategic partner to leaders and associates across our Shared Services organization.

The role reports to the HR Director and focuses on talent strategies, employee engagement, and organizational performance. The position follows a Mid-Shift (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM) with a Hybrid setup (4x / month Onsite) in Manila.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in Shared Services, GBS, or multinational setups.
• Deep knowledge of Philippine labor laws, labor/employee relations, performance management.
• Strong influence, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record in managing organizational change while balancing strategic priorities with daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic HR partnership with leaders on workforce planning, succession, and org design.
• Lead investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions with governance in line with Philippine labor laws.
• Guide leaders through goal setting, feedback cycles, and performance improvement plans.
• Drive engagement action plans, coach managers, and foster a high-performance culture.
• Close capability gaps through Talent Development with L&D teams.
• Use HR metrics to identify trends, streamline processes, and mitigate risk.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategic HR Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on workforce planning, succession management, organizational design, and change initiatives.
• Employee & Labor Relations: Lead investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions while ensuring 100% compliance with Philippine labor laws and governance standards.
• Performance Management: Guide leaders through goal setting, feedback cycles, performance improvement plans, and recognizing top talent.
• Leadership Coaching & Engagement: Drive engagement action plans, coach managers on people management, and foster a high-performance culture.
• Talent Development: Partner with L&D teams to close capability gaps, facilitate talent reviews, and support career progression.
• HR Analytics & Process Improvement: Leverage HR metrics to identify trends, streamline processes, and mitigate organizational risk.

QUALIFICATIONS
