Qualifications

  • 8–10 years progressive HR experience with 3–5 years in an HR Business Partner or strategic HR role.
  • Experience supporting leaders and employee populations in a fast-paced, matrixed or shared services environment.
  • Experience in business partnering, employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development.
  • Exposure to the BPO, Shared Services, IT Services, or Technology industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic business partnership: translate priorities into people initiatives and advise on workforce planning, organization design and succession planning.
  • Talent management & workforce planning: forecast demand, develop talent pipelines, support talent reviews and leadership development.
  • Employee engagement & culture: drive engagement, inclusion and a high-performance culture; conduct surveys and act on results.
  • Performance management & development: coach on performance processes, enable goal setting, reviews and calibration.
  • Employee relations, HR operations & compliance: ensure policy interpretation and adherence, handle investigations and compliance with Philippines labor laws.
  • HR analytics & insights: analyze attrition, productivity, and engagement metrics; present dashboards and recommendations.

About the Role

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, partnering with them to align people strategies with organizational goals. The role is responsible for driving talent initiatives, employee engagement, workforce planning, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and change management while ensuring compliance with company policies and local labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Partnership
  • Partner with business leaders to understand strategic priorities and translate them into people initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, organization design, succession planning, and talent strategies.
  • Support organizational transformation, restructuring, and change management programs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on people-related matters and business challenges.
2. Talent Management & Workforce Planning
  • Identify current and future skill requirements and develop talent pipelines to support business growth.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams to forecast workforce demand and critical hiring needs.
  • Support talent review, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
  • Drive leadership development programs and strengthen internal mobility opportunities.
3. Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Champion employee experience and foster a culture of inclusion, diversity, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Partner with managers to enhance team engagement and strengthen organizational culture.
  • Conduct employee engagement surveys, analyse results, and drive action planning.
  • Lead employee listening initiatives and recommend interventions to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
4. Performance Management & Development
  • Advise and coach managers on performance management processes and best practices.
  • Facilitate goal-setting, performance reviews, and calibration discussions.
  • Support managers in delivering effective feedback, coaching, and performance improvement plans.
  • Ensure alignment between employee objectives and broader business goals.
5. Employee Relations, HR Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure consistent interpretation and application of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver seamless HR services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable Philippines labor laws and regulations.
6. HR Analytics & Business Insights
  • Analyse workforce metrics including attrition, absenteeism, productivity, engagement, and talent movement.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to business leaders based on HR data.
  • Develop and present HR dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
  • Monitor workforce trends and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
Experience
  • 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in an HR Business Partner or strategic HR role.
  • Experience supporting leaders and employee populations in a fast-paced, matrixed, or shared services environment.
  • Experience in business partnering, employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development.
