A. Talent Acquisition
Manages all recruitment initiatives in his area of coverage
- 1. Implements activities that utilize various recruitment strategies to effectively reach the target market for potential candidates
- 2. Identifies, utilizes and maintains good relationship with primary and secondary sourcing channels such as universities, professional organizations, local government units and the like
- 3. Conceptualize the unique selling points in branding the company to its potential candidates
B. Employee Movement
Manages all activities related to regularization, lateral transfer, promotion, resignation and the like
- 1. Validates the competence and the willingness of the employee for regularization, transfer of promotion by conducting interviews and using assessment tools and recommends the approval of the same
- 2. Signs all manpower transfer request that comply with the rules on employee movement
- 3. Identifies reasons for resignation of rank and file employees in his area of coverage by conducting interviews and using assessment tools
- 4. Accepts the resignation letter of employees who have expressed their intention to leave the company
C. Total Rewards Management
Manages the development, analysis and implementation of effective control of employee remuneration covering salary and all benefits
- 1. Reviews and approves timekeeping records of employees prior to submitting the same to the Treasury Operations Department for payroll processing
- 2. Evaluates and approves employees benefits requests within the limits of authority as defined by applicable policies and procedures
- 3. Leads the administration of compensation and benefits benchmarking survey to identify the stature of the company against the prevailing standards within and outside of the banking industry
- 4. Designs and recommends salary structure and benefits models that are equitable, strategic and competitive
D. Employee Relations
Manages the implementation of the provisions of the Standard of Conduct and Discipline to correct behaviors that are not aligned with the corporate culture
- 1. Sets control points to ensure that are all reviewed and approved decisions, whether administrative or otherwise, are compliant with the rules written in the Labor Code, Manual of Operations and Standard of Conduct and Discipline and its Implementing Rules and Regulations
- 2. Develops activities to expedite the closure of all cases within the approved turnaround time without jeopardizing rules on due process
- 3. Develops organizational mechanisms to prevent further violation of the Code of Conduct
E. Employee Engagement
Manages the implementation of activities that are aimed at promoting and maintaining engagement and physical, mental and social health at work
- 1. Develops a structured system in monitoring the general sentiments and morale of employees on a regular basis
- 2. Designs mechanisms to balance the expectations of employees and the capacity of the management to close any engagement-related concern
- 3. Designs an employee recognition system that is based on loyalty and exemplary performance at work
- 4. Develops a comprehensive corporate wellness program covering areas such as health risk assessment, stress and burn out management, fitness activities, meditation and spiritual awareness sessions and the like
F. Corporate Planning and Deliverables Monitoring
- 1. Participates in strategic and operational planning activities of the company
- 2. Prepares, submits and presents reports relative to the development of plans and assessment of departmental output at any given time
G. Business Process Improvements and Process Documentation
- 1. Analyzes and evaluates current internal processes by initiating business efficiency studies such as work flow analysis, root cause analysis and the like
- 2. Revisits existing policies, procedures and work instructions and identifies areas that can be improved.
- 3. Creates innovative projects and documents policies and procedures to improve over-all departmental efficiency
H. Personnel Management
Exercises administrative control over all activities and staff under his management with respect to work load distribution, personnel placement, performance appraisal, training, teamwork, morale, attendance, discipline and work behavior
I. Performs other functions as directed by the management from time to time
