Job summary

Mace Group is seeking an HSW professional to drive policy implementation and ensure safety, health and environmental compliance across projects. You will lead audits, coordinate inspections, analyse KPIs and influence continuous improvement, while engaging stakeholders and maintaining programme integrity.

The role also focuses on delivering safe project outcomes, managing carbon impacts and supporting sustainable delivery with a flexible, hybrid working approach.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH or equivalent HSW qualification with IOSH membership.
• Proven HSW experience including auditing, risk management and compliance delivery.
• Strong communication skills, translating technical information for diverse audiences.
• Organised, proactive and solutions-focused, managing priorities and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Drives implementation and compliance of HSW policies, standards and procedures across projects.
• Leads preparation and assurance of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 systems and audits.
• Coordinates inspection and audit programmes, undertaking reviews and supporting operational HSW compliance.
• Analyses performance data, KPIs and reports to identify risks, drive improvements and deliver corrective actions.
• Leads incident investigations, fosters continuous improvement and builds stakeholder relationships.
• Champions net zero ambitions, proactively managing carbon impacts and supporting sustainable project delivery.
