Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a senior HSW leader to manage health, safety, and wellbeing programs across country operations. You will lead the development and enforcement of local HSW strategies, ensure compliance with regulations, investigate incidents, and collaborate with stakeholders to sustain safe project delivery.

You will guide line management, mentor HSW professionals, and coordinate with global safety leadership to embed best practices across Arcadis projects in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., occupational H&S, environmental science, engineering).
• Chartered or progression toward professional status (CIH/CSP/CHMM/ASP).
• 10+ years of HSW experience with national/international stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of local HSW legislation and operations.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSW programs locally aligned with policy.
• Provide leadership in HSW at industry/service level.
• Develop and maintain occupational HSW programs and engagement.
• Lead country/operation to set HSW goals and monitor progress.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal procedures.
• Maintain expert HSW knowledge and apply to operations.
• Drive compliance accountability with leadership.
• Investigate accidents/incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Lead emergency response planning at country/operational level.
• Oversee project HSW components and client communications.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to set and achieve HSW objectives.
• Coach senior management to integrate HSW into business planning.
