Job summary

Mace Group is seeking an engineer to provide technical support for ELV and security systems, ensuring compliance with project standards and best practices. You will contribute to programme delivery, health and safety, quality, commissioning and project performance outcomes, while building strong relationships with clients and project teams.

The role emphasizes risk identification, learning, and supporting Mace’s net zero delivery commitments, with open discussions on flexible or hybrid working

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC/HND, apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Experience delivering MEP projects within the construction sector.
• Knowledge of design, commissioning, planning, quality and health & safety principles.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and collaborative working skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for ELV and security systems, ensuring compliance with project standards and best practice.
• Support programme delivery, health, safety, wellbeing, quality, commissioning and project performance outcomes.
• Build effective relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams to ensure coordinated delivery.
• Contribute to contract, budget, programme and commercial reviews, supporting value-driven project decisions.
• Review ELV and security system designs, delivery strategies and commissioning plans to promote quality, resilience and operational effectiveness.
• Proactively identify risks, share lessons learned and support Mace’s commitment to net zero carbon delivery.
