Job summary

MGEN Thermal is seeking a Standards and Policy Lead to own the HSSE policy library and manage the 24-month Transformation Journey, serving as the backbone of the HSSE function across sites.

You will define rules, ensure proper implementation, coordinate rollout, training, and policy updates, while reporting to the COO. Requires a engineering/safety background and 5–7 years in HSSE policy and safety program management, with familiarity of RA 11058 and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in HSSE policy development, management systems, or safety program management in an industrial environment.
• Experience writing and implementing safety policies, standards, and procedures.
• Experience in program or project coordination in a multi-site industrial environment is preferred.
• ISO 45001 or ISO14001 internal auditor certification is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with RA 11058 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations is required.

Responsibilities

• Own the HSSE policy refresh program - drafting, review cycles, internal consultation, approval routing, and version control across six implementation waves covering 14 policies.
• Coordinate the mechanics of the 24-month HSSE Transformation Journey: milestone tracking, wave sequencing, governance forum preparation, and status reporting to the COO.
• Maintain the HSSE policy and standards library, ensuring all documents are current, properly controlled, and accessible to site teams.
• Develop and execute rollout and training plans for every new or revised policy issued, ensuring site-level adoption is verified, not just communicated.
• Coordinate the Power Talk event series and other all-employee HSSE communication platforms.
• Serve as the document control authority for the HSSE management system.
• Benchmark MGENThermal's HSSE policies and standards against IRR of RA 11058, ISO 45001, ISO14001, and relevant industry practice, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
• Prepare periodic transformation progress reports for the HSSE Manager and COO LT.
• Coordinate with site ESH and CESS teams on policy implementation readiness, compliance timelines, and training completion.
