Job summary

Confidential seeks a hands-on Health, Safety & Security (HS&S) Manager to lead site-wide safety, asset integrity, and operational security across our heavy industrial footprint. This role blends engineering rigor with practical field leadership on the plant floor.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical/chemical/electrical/civil engineering background, strong MOC experience, and a track record of reducing risk in high-hazard environments. Travel to large-scale sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Civil).
• SO4 or NEBOSH Diploma/IOSH membership or global equivalents.
• 5–7 years of safety leadership in heavy manufacturing or 10+ years in senior operations/maintenance in high-hazard environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant-wide HS&S workflows aligned with engineering standards, asset integrity protocols, and legal frameworks.
• Dissect incidents to identify root causes and deploy systemic safeguards with engineering teams.
• Translate complex technical protocols into clear, practical execution for operators, technicians, and contractors.
• Direct high-hazard emergency response readiness, risk assessments, site security, and departmental budgeting.
• Monitor safety metrics to deliver actionable insights that reduce downtime and injuries.
