Job summary

OpenText in the Philippines is seeking an HRSS Specialist (Benefits PH) to deliver compliant benefits services across the country. You will act as the subject-matter expert for government-mandated and company-sponsored programs, ensuring accurate enrollments and data integrity.

You will partner with HR, Payroll, and vendors to optimize processes, while ensuring compliance with local laws and delivering excellent employee experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR Operations or HR Shared Services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as operational expert for Philippine benefits administration, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and company programs.
• Manage end-to-end benefits lifecycle: enrollments, updates, changes, terminations, with compliance.
• Collaborate with HR Shared Services, Payroll, Total Rewards, HR Technology, vendors and providers to ensure seamless processes.
• Provide guidance to employees on benefits policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze operational challenges, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend improvements.
• Support process optimization, knowledge management, and quality audits.
• Assist regional HR operations initiatives and collaborate with APJ partners.

YOUR IMPACT

As an HRSS Specialist (Benefits PH), you will play a critical role in delivering a seamless and compliant employee experience across the Philippines. You will serve as a trusted subject matter expert in benefits administration, managing both government-mandated and company-sponsored benefit programs while ensuring operational excellence, data integrity, and compliance with local regulations. The role requires a proactive and process-oriented professional who can navigate complex benefits transactions, partner effectively with stakeholders, and identify opportunities to continuously improve service delivery and efficiency.

What The Role Offers

• Act as the primary operational expert for Philippine benefits administration, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and company-sponsored benefit programs.
• Manage end-to-end benefits lifecycle activities, including enrollments, updates, changes, and terminations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and service levels.
• Partner closely with HR Shared Services, Payroll, Total Rewards, HR Technology teams, vendors, and benefit providers to ensure seamless execution of benefits processes.
• Provide guidance and support to employees and stakeholders on benefits-related inquiries, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as a compliance advocate, ensuring benefits administration aligns with Philippine labor laws and statutory requirements.
• Analyze operational challenges, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and employee experience.
• Contribute to process optimization initiatives, knowledge management, quality audits, and continuous improvement efforts across the HR Shared Services organization.
• Support regional HR operations initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional partners across APJ to drive operational excellence.

What You Need To Succeed

• Experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or HR Service Delivery, preferably within a regional or multi-country environment.
• Strong hands-on experience administering Philippine government-mandated and company-sponsored benefits.
• Deep knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory benefits, with the ability to serve as a trusted subject matter expert.
• Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver exceptional employee and customer experiences.
• Process improvement mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors, Payroll, or Total Rewards is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work across morning and afternoon shifts based on business needs, within a five-day onsite work environment.
