Prime Budget King Supermarket Corporation seeks an HR Training Specialist to design, implement, and deliver training programs that boost employee skills, performance, and growth. The role supports onboarding, develops instructional materials, and collaborates with SMEs to foster a strong learning culture.

The ideal candidate excels in adult learning, delivers both virtual and in-person sessions, and evaluates training effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in training, learning & development, or instructional design
• Experience as an HR/L&D Generalist, handling multiple training functions (design, facilitation, evaluation, and coordination)
• Proven experience managing the end-to-end training lifecycle
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
• Proficiency in training tools and platforms (e.g., LMS, Zoom, Articulate, Canva, Google Slides)
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Previous retail industry experience is required

Responsibilities

• Training Design & Development: Identify training needs through job analysis, performance evaluations, and stakeholder consultations
• Training Design & Development: Design and develop engaging learning materials (presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, job aids)
• Training Design & Development: Customize training programs based on organizational and departmental requirements
• Training Delivery & Facilitation: Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions (onboarding, soft skills, compliance, and technical topics)
• Training Delivery & Facilitation: Deliver interactive and learner-centered sessions to improve engagement and retention
• Training Delivery & Facilitation: Manage training logistics including scheduling, materials, and coordination
• Evaluation & Reporting: Measure training effectiveness using surveys, assessments, and performance metrics
• Evaluation & Reporting: Analyze feedback and continuously improve training programs
• Evaluation & Reporting: Maintain accurate training records and generate reports for stakeholders
• Collaboration & Support: Partner with HR and business leaders to align training initiatives with company goals
• Collaboration & Support: Support onboarding and employee development programs
• Collaboration & Support: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development
• Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Experience in both virtual and classroom training environments
• Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Background in onboarding and employee engagement programs
• Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Familiarity with e-learning development tools and content creation
