Job summary

Universal Leaf Philippines, Inc. is seeking an HR (Talent Acquisition) Associate to join our Human Resources team in Cagayan Valley (Region 2). This full-time role focuses on identifying, attracting, and recruiting top talent to support our business objectives and cultural values.

You will source candidates across channels, screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview logistics with hiring managers while maintaining accurate ATS data and reporting on recruitment progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in talent acquisition or HR recruitment.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment legislation, and hiring procedures.
• Proficient with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns.

Responsibilities

About the role

Universal Leaf Philippines, Inc. is seeking an HR (Talent Acquisition) Associate to join our Human Resources team in Cagayan Valley (Region 2). This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in strengthening our organisation by identifying, attracting, and recruiting top talent to support our business objectives. As an HR (Talent Acquisition) Associate, you will be instrumental in building high-performing teams across the company and ensuring we attract candidates who align with our values and culture.

What you’ll be doing

• Source and identify qualified candidates through various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals

• Review applications and resumes to screen candidates against job requirements and competency profiles

• Conduct initial telephone and video interviews to assess candidate suitability and gather relevant information

• Coordinate interview schedules and logistics between candidates and hiring managers

• Prepare job descriptions and posting materials in collaboration with department heads and hiring managers

• Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate candidate information and recruitment progress

• Liaise with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide regular recruitment updates and pipeline reports

• Administer pre-employment checks and coordinate background verification processes

• Participate in recruitment planning and forecasting to support business growth and workforce planning initiatives

• Contribute to the enhancement of recruitment processes and the development of recruitment strategies

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline

• 1-2 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a similar HR function

• Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment legislation, and hiring procedures

• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment management software

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality

• Proactive problem-solving approach and willingness to learn and develop professionally

• Experience with social media recruitment and digital sourcing methods is advantageous
