Alfamart Trading Philippines, Inc. in Laguna is seeking an experienced HR Supervisor to partner with business leaders and managers to shape and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals.

This role acts as a liaison across HR and business units to ensure consistent practices and effective people management. You will handle employee relations, support performance management, identify training needs, ensure labor law compliance, and contribute to organizational development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience as a Generalist in Labor Relations.
• Experience in Retail Industry or FMCG is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with mid-management to align HR strategies with long-term goals.
• Handle complex employee relations issues, investigations, and guidance on conflict resolution.
• Support performance management processes, including goal setting and reviews.
• Identify training needs, develop programs, and facilitate workshops.

As a Human Resource Supervisor, you are expected to work closely with business leaders and managers to develop and implement HR strategies that support the achievement of organizational goals and objectives. Act as a liaison between the HR department and various business units, ensuring alignment in HR practices and initiatives.

• Collaborate with mid-management to understand the organization's long-term objectives and develop HR strategies that align with these goals.

• Handle complex employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and provide guidance to people on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement.

• Support people in performance management processes, including setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and addressing performance issues.

• Identify training needs, develop training programs, and facilitate workshops to enhance employee skills and capabilities.

• Stay updated on labor laws and regulations, and ensure HR policies and practices comply with legal requirements.

• Collaborate on organizational development initiatives, including restructuring, change management, and succession planning.

• Develop and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

What does it take to be part of the team?

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3 – 4 experiences as a Generalist or more in the Labor Relations facet.

• Experience in the Retail Industry or Fast-Moving Consumer Good Industry is a plus.

• In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.

• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

• Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business objectives into HR initiatives.

• Excellent project management skills.

• Strong ethical and confidential handling of sensitive HR information.
