Job summary

TaskUs is seeking an HR Supervisor to lead employee engagement initiatives and labor relations within the People Operations Department in the Philippines. You will oversee HR programs, policy compliance, and investigations while coordinating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced BPO setting.

The role requires 1-2 years in a BPO environment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work night shifts or rotating schedules.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a BPO environment, generalist or supervisory role.
• Experience leading employee engagement initiatives.
• Strong background in employee engagement and labor relations.
• Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
• Able to lead a cross-functional team, work independently, and be willing to night shift or rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage employee engagement programs and initiatives.
• Handle labor relations tasks and advise on compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Oversee HR processes including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, and investigations.
• Respond to inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors; escalate sensitive issues as needed.
• Attend disciplinary meetings and investigations and contribute to policy reviews and updates.

So what does a HR Supervisor really do?

Think of yourself as the key person who will be in charge of taking care of the employees. Lead and make a change. You will be in charge of Employee Engagement, Labor Relations, and other related functions in the People Operations Department.

As a HR Supervisor, you will:

• Handles due process documents and proceedings such as admin hearings, and the like
• Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications
• Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
• Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
• Maintains compliance with local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

Do you have what it takes to become a HR Supervisor?

• At least 1-2 years of experience (BPO experience is preferred on a generalist or supervisory level)
• Experience in leading employee engagement
• Strong background in employee engagement/labor relations
• Strong organizational skills, project management skills, and analytical skills
• Can lead a cross-functional team, work independently, and someone who's willing to work on night shift or a rotating schedule
