Job summary

Orro Home in Quezon City is seeking an HR Specialist to support human resources and employee relations functions, develop and implement policies, and ensure compliance with Philippine employment laws. Qualifications

About the role

We are seeking an HR Specialist to join the team at Orro Home in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting our human resources and employee relations functions. As an HR Specialist, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing policies, program and initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture whilst ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. This role sits at the intersection of strategic human resources management and day-to-day employee relations, making it essential to the overall success and growth of our organization.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviews and new employee orientation
• Manage employee relations matters, including handling grievances, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution
• Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and compliance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation in compliance with data protection regulations
• Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement activities, training program and professional development initiatives
• Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR-related queries and concerns
• Monitor workplace compliance with labor laws and internal policies
• Prepare HR reports and analytics to support decision-making and strategic planning
• Liaise with external partners such as recruitment agencies, training providers and legal advisors as needed

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably with exposure to employee relations and recruitment
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, employment regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
• High level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee information
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
• Preferred: HR certifications such as PHRA or equivalent professional qualifications
