Job summary

Maybank is seeking a Human Capital Intern to support our HR team across People Development, Operations, and Process Regulatory & Compliance. This role offers hands-on exposure to end-to-end HR functions and meaningful experience for students.

You will help with onboarding, records, trainings logistics, HR reports, and policy reviews, while developing communication and coordination skills in a dynamic, multi‑department setting.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Currently enrolled in a degree related to Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assist onboarding and orientation of new hires.
• Prepare onboarding materials, ID requests, system access, and welcome kits.
• Support employee records management and HR documentation.
• Assist learning & development activities (trainings, logistics, evaluations).
• Help generate HR reports, dashboards, and research insights.
• Support employee engagement initiatives (events, communications, feedback tracking).
• Maintain and organize employee 201 files (physical and digital).
• Assist in company ID preparation and monitoring.
• Support HMO card distribution and documentation.
• Generate tracking reports for HR operations activities.
• Assist in data gathering and mapping for HR systems (e.g., e-BSC project).
• Support in creating process flowcharts for HR processes.
• Help review and summarize HR policies and ensure alignment with actual practices.
