MicroSourcing in Libis, Quezon City is hiring an HR and Payroll Specialist to support onboarding, records, payroll inputs, and recruiting operations in a hybrid, night-shift role. You will ensure accurate payroll processing and data integrity while handling confidential information with discretion.

The role requires strong Excel skills, experience with HRIS/ATS, and the ability to work around U.S. Eastern Time hours, contributing to a compliant, efficiency-driven HR function.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in HR administration, payroll support, or recruiting coordination.
• Excellent accuracy and ability to meet fixed payroll deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with multiple systems.
• Superior written and spoken English, able to work U.S. Eastern Time hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new-employee onboarding: send paperwork, collect documents, track start dates, follow up on items.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HR system: hires, changes, leaves, separations, files.
• Verify pre-payroll inputs each cycle: hours, time corrections, PTO, leave codes, bonuses with audit trail.
• Manage recruiting operations: post jobs, screen resumes, route qualified candidates, track statuses.
• Track Ops Excellence scorecards and driver qualification files, including MVR requests and regulatory compliance.

Your Role

• Coordinate new-employee onboarding by sending paperwork, collecting required documents, tracking progress against start dates, and following up on outstanding items.
• Maintain accurate employee records and information within the HR system, covering new hires, job/pay changes, leaves, separations, and general personnel files.
• Verify pre-payroll inputs each cycle, ensuring hours, time-punch corrections, PTO, leave codes, and approved bonus/incentive payouts are accurately logged with an audit trail prior to cutoffs.
• Manage recruiting operations by posting approved job descriptions to hiring platforms, screening resumes against manager criteria, routing qualified candidates, and maintaining candidate statuses.
• Track daily Ops Excellence scorecards and driver qualification files, including submitting Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requests, assisting applicants via ITI, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• At least 2 years of experience in HR administration, payroll support, recruiting coordination, or high-volume data entry.
• Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and discipline to meet strict, fixed payroll deadlines.
• Proven ability to handle confidential and personally identifiable information (PII) with complete discretion.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort navigating multiple administrative systems and spreadsheets.
• Excellent written and spoken English with a professional, organized follow-up style and ability to work U.S. Eastern Time hours.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Experience working with U.S. HRIS/payroll platforms, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and popular job boards.
• Familiarity with U.S. payroll concepts, including exempt/non-exempt status, overtime calculations, PTO accruals, and bonus processing.
• Background in supporting transportation or trucking employers, including driver applications, MVRs, and DOT driver-qualification files.
• Prior experience supporting a U.S.-based client or employer in a remote work setup.
• Familiarity with updating operational metrics and scorecard trackers from timekeeping, ELD, and manager inputs.
