Job summary

Black & White Engineering is seeking an HR Partner in Manila to be the trusted first contact for leaders and employees, blending hands-on HR delivery with proactive business partnering.

You will manage employee relations, onboarding, probation and performance processes, and keep records compliant with Philippine law. You will develop business understanding and provide practical HR advice, helping shape local policies aligned with regional standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, psychology, business or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a generalist HR or HRBP role.
• Experience in employee relations, onboarding, performance management and engagement.
• Knowledge of Philippine labour law and statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, PagIBIG, BIR) desirable.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS platforms.

As HR Partner in Manila, you will be the trusted first point of contact for leaders and employees, combining hands‑on HR delivery with genuine business partnering.

You will be the primary HR contact for your assigned business units. You will build strong relationships with leaders and employees, and give advice they can act on.

Your days will cover employee relations, onboarding, probation and performance management. You will also keep employee records accurate and compliant with Philippine employment law. It is a practical role that builds depth across the full HR cycle.

You will develop a working understanding of business performance and financials for your business units. This knowledge will help you make your HR advice practical and relevant to the people you support and give advice that fits the challenges leaders face.

You will help improve HR processes and policies for the Manila office, in line with regional and global standards. You will also support the global engagement survey and help turn the results into local action plans.

You will work closely with the Senior HR Manager in Manila and HR colleagues across the region. Your ideas will be heard, and you will learn from people facing similar challenges in other offices.

• Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR or HR business partnering role, ideally in a fast-paced or growing organisation.
• Exposure to employee relations, onboarding, performance management and engagement processes.
• Working knowledge of Philippine labour law and statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, PagIBIG, BIR) is desirable.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with close attention to detail.
• Confident use of MS Office and HRIS platforms such as BambooHR or Workday.
