Job summary

ABSI is seeking an HR Employee Services Intern to support the HR Employee Services team with accurate HR assistance, employee records management, and query resolution.

You will gain hands-on exposure to core HR operations, onboarding/offboarding coordination, and documentation while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with internal policies.

This role is ideal for students in HR or related fields who value detail, teamwork, and a customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in responding to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, attendance, and employment records.
• Support the management of HR tickets or cases through an employee services or helpdesk system.
• Escalate complex concerns to appropriate HR teams when necessary.
• Assist in maintaining and updating employee records in HRIS or internal databases.
• Support onboarding and offboarding documentation and coordination.
• Help prepare employment-related documents such as certificates, letters, and confirmations.
• Assist in processing employee data changes (personal information, job updates, status changes).
• Assist in preparing basic HR reports, trackers, and dashboards.
• Support HR audits, compliance checks, and documentation requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee data at all times.
