Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of U.S. employment compliance laws, including FCRA, I-9, and E-Verify.
• End-to-end background screening management from initiation through final hire decision.
• Experience handling FCRA pre-adverse and adverse action notices.
• Audit readiness for Form I-9 compliance, reverification, and documentation.
• Ability to independently decide hire/no-hire decisions based on complex background check results and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage all pre-employment background screenings from initiation through final resolution.
• Adjudicate background check results in accordance with adjudication matrix, guidelines, FCRA requirements, and laws.
• Conduct individualized assessments of criminal history relevant to job, timing, and legality.
• Serve as final decision-maker for background screening outcomes, including hire eligibility and risk.
• Issue, track, and process all FCRA-required pre-adverse and adverse action notices on time.
• Coordinate rescinded offers or separations resulting from screening outcomes with TA, HR, and Legal.
