Job summary

Upgrade Energy Philippines (UGEP) seeks a proactive HR Officer to support core HR functions across the organization, including recruitment, onboarding, record-keeping, and offboarding for both head office and project sites.

The role collaborates with hiring managers and site teams to meet staffing needs and drive employee engagement initiatives, contributing to a positive workplace culture and smooth HR operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–2 years HR or recruitment experience (internship included).
• Willing to work in both office and site environments.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with HRIS tools.
• Outgoing, proactive and flexible attitude.
• Willing to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruitment for head office and site roles, including posting, screening, interviewing, and offers.
• Conduct site visits to recruit local workers as needed.
• Coordinate onboarding, documentation, orientation, and system setup.
• Maintain recruitment databases and reports.
• Maintain employee records and track attendance, leaves, and renewals.
• Assist in exit interviews, clearance, and offboarding processes.
• Plan and assist in employee engagement activities and events.
• Provide general HR administration support and help ensure policy compliance.
