Job summary

1. Occupational Safety and Health Compliance

• Develop, implement and review ICON’s OSH programme.
• Serve as the designated Safety Officer for the assigned workplace.
• Convene and act as secretary to the Safety and Health Committee.
• Conduct workplace inspections, hazard identification and risk assessment, and incident investigation.
• Ensure all workers complete the mandatory eight-hour OSH seminar.
• Maintain the first aider complement and emergency preparedness arrangements.
• Prepare and file all DOLE-prescribed OSH reports.

2.Central Office Administration and Facilities

• Keep head office premises safe, clean, serviced and fit to work in — building services, utilities, sanitation, security, pantry and workstations.
• Operate a request and response process for office services with an agreed turnaround.
• Plan and manage the administrative budget.
• Coordinate office moves, fit-outs and space planning.

3. Asset, Vendor and Contract Administration

• Administer leases, utility accounts, service contracts and supplier accreditation.
• Manage general insurance covering the company’s facilities.

4. Permits, Licenses and Statutory Records

• Track and renew business permits, occupancy and fire safety certifications, sanitary permits and other regulatory clearances before expiry.
• Maintain the company’s administrative and OSH records so they are retrievable and inspection ready.
• Act as custodian for regulator correspondence and inspection files.

5. Branch Safety Coordination

• Set one company-wide OSH standard and audit the three branch sites against it.
• Support the Branch HR & Admin Supervisors on safety officer designation, committee formation, drills and local inspections.
• Consolidate branch data into company-level OSH reporting.
• Escalate unresolved site hazards.

6. Support Staff Supervision

• Direct, schedule and appraise office support staff.
• Set service standards and verify attendance and output.
• Ensure contractor personnel are compliant with ICON’s OSH requirements before they are allowed on site.
