Job summary

Our client, a well-established Filipino engineering group, seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead the people strategy across multiple business units. You will partner with senior leaders to attract, develop, and retain talent while fostering safety, accountability, and operational excellence for a predominantly blue-collar workforce.

You will oversee end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and development, ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws

Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, including 3–5 years in an HR Manager or senior leadership role.
  • Experience managing HR for blue-collar or project-based workforces.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Labor Code and HR functions.

  • Lead end-to-end HR operations: recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, learning and development, HR administration.
  • Partner with business leaders to support workforce planning, manpower, org development and engagement across sites.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, company policies, regulations, and HR best practices; manage discipline and labor concerns.
  • Drive initiatives to improve retention, leadership capability, performance and culture.
  • Develop HR metrics and reports to provide management with workforce insights for decisions.

Our client is a well-established Filipino engineering group with over four decades of expertise delivering geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, ground improvement, and specialized engineering solutions across the Philippines. As the organization continues to expand, they are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the company’s people strategy and strengthen HR operations across multiple business units.

This role is ideal for an HR leader who enjoys working in fast-paced, operations-driven environments with a significant blue-collar workforce. You’ll partner closely with business leaders to attract, develop, and retain talent while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end Human Resources operations, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, learning and development, and HR administration.
  • Partner with business leaders to support workforce planning, manpower requirements, organizational development, and employee engagement across project sites and corporate functions.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, company policies, government regulations, and HR best practices while managing employee discipline, grievance handling, and labor-related concerns.
  • Drive initiatives that improve employee retention, leadership capability, performance, and organizational culture.
  • Develop HR metrics and reports that provide management with actionable workforce insights and support informed business decisions.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, including 3-5 years in an HR Manager or senior HR leadership role.
  • Strong experience managing HR for organizations with a substantial blue-collar or project-based workforce, preferably within construction, engineering, manufacturing, infrastructure, logistics, or related industries.
  • Well-versed in Philippine Labor Code, employee relations, recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Confident partnering with senior leaders while remaining hands-on in executing HR initiatives.
  • Experience supporting multiple sites or business units is an advantage.
