Responsible for leading the country HR agenda as a strategic business partner, ensuring Crown has the leadership, capability, engagement, and future-ready skills needed to deliver its 2030 Group Strategy. The HR Manager will move HR beyond transactional support by strengthening core HR operations, using people data and insight to guide decisions, and developing practical programs that improve employee experience, talent retention, succession planning, organizational capability, and workforce readiness. Acting as a trusted internal consultant to senior management, the role will help create an inclusive, accountable, collaborative, and innovative workplace where people are empowered to contribute to profitable growth, operational excellence, customer value, and the One Crown ambition.
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute the country HR strategy aligned with local business objectives and Crown’s 2030 Group Strategy, particularly the Passionate People, One Crown and Operational Excellence priorities.
Drive the evolution of HR from transactional support to a strategic value-creating business partner, while ensuring efficient, compliant, and professional administration of all core HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
Partner closely with senior management to translate Group direction into local people plans, workforce priorities, and role-based objectives that help employees understand the part they play in achieving Crown’s ambition.
Use people data, employee feedback, and business insight to identify emerging workforce risks, capability gaps, engagement opportunities, and practical actions that support stronger performance.
Lead organizational change and culture-building initiatives that strengthen accountability, collaboration, entrepreneurship, innovation, inclusion, and readiness for future business needs.
Design and implement programs that strengthen leadership capability, employee engagement, learning, career development, and internal mobility.
Partner with leaders to identify current and future skills requirements, including technology, digital capability, innovation, commercial awareness, customer focus, and change leadership.
Build stronger talent pipelines and succession plans for key positions, using structured talent reviews, individual development plans, and targeted leadership development pathways.
Support retention of high-performing and high-potential employees by improving development opportunities, manager capability, recognition, career visibility, and employee engagement.
Conduct organizational design reviews to ensure structures, roles, spans of control, and capabilities are aligned with evolving business needs and productivity expectations.
Help drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, continuous improvement, and One Crown teamwork across businesses and functions.
Ensure performance management processes clearly align individual and team objectives with business priorities, Group strategy, and local KPI targets.
Strengthen employee experience and sentiment by listening actively, acting on feedback, and helping leaders create an inclusive workplace where employees feel valued, equipped, and empowered.
Develop stronger rewards and recognition practices that reinforce high performance, innovation, customer value, learning, and behaviors aligned with Crown’s values.
Maintain positive employee relations through proactive engagement, risk management, and policy development.
Be well versed in labor relations and law to ensure Crown’s compliance with both internal standards of care and external regulation.
Embed ESG, inclusion, wellbeing, and responsible employment practices into HR policies and supplier/partner expectations where relevant.
Establish HR service standards and ensure consistent, professional, timely, and employee-centered HR support across the organization.
Simplify, standardize, and digitize HR processes where possible to reduce manual work, improve productivity, and strengthen the employee experience.
Maintain accurate HR data, records, dashboards, and reporting to support compliance, workforce planning, talent decisions, and leadership accountability.
Track and support local people KPIs, including employee experience and sentiment, upskilling, talent development, retention, future skills, and leadership readiness.
Balance operational excellence with strategic contribution, ensuring HR remains agile, efficient, compliant, and focused on activities that add measurable value.
Understands Crown’s business priorities, financial drivers, customer expectations, and local market needs. Translates Group strategy into practical people plans that support profitable growth, operational excellence, and the One Crown ambition.
Capability Applies strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, labour compliance, talent management, learning, rewards, organizational development, and HR governance to deliver effective, compliant, and business-relevant solutions.
Builds capability for the future by identifying skills gaps, strengthening leadership pipelines, supporting individual development plans, promoting learning adoption, and helping employees develop technology, AI, innovation, and change-readiness capabilities.
Uses HR data, employee feedback, engagement insights, and workforce metrics to identify risks, prioritize action, measure impact, and provide clear recommendations to leaders.
Leads and supports change with clarity, empathy, and discipline. Builds trust, encourages collaboration, reinforces accountability, and helps managers create an inclusive and engaged workplace aligned with Crown’s values.
Country HR plan is clearly aligned with business priorities and Crown’s 2030 Group Strategy, with agreed actions tracked and delivered.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline; relevant postgraduate qualification or HR certification is an advantage.
At least 8 years of progressive HR experience, including experience in an HR manager, HR business partner, or senior generalist role.
Strong working knowledge of local labor law, employee relations, HR compliance, policy development, and core HR operations.
Demonstrated experienceleading talent development, performance management, employee engagement, organizational change, and workforce planning initiatives.
Experience using HR systems, employee data, dashboards, and reporting to support decision-making and improve HR service delivery.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, coaching, problem-solving, and influencing skills, with the confidence to partner with senior leaders and support employees at all levels.
