Job summary

LEC Steel Manufacturing Corp. in Metro Manila is seeking an HR Intern to support recruitment, onboarding, records management, and employee engagement. You will assist with interviews, orientation materials, and HR data entry while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed degree in HR, Business Admin, Psychology, or related field.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative duties.
• Proactive approach to learning HR systems and processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred experience: internship or part-time HR/administrative role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment activities including job posting distribution, screening of applications, and coordination of interviews.
• Support onboarding for new employees, including preparation of documentation and orientation materials.
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Help coordinate employee engagement activities and workplace events.
• Assist with administration of HR policies across the organization.
• Support preparation of HR reports and workforce data analysis.
• Respond to routine HR inquiries from employees with general HR information.
• Assist with training and development initiatives and employee learning programs.
