Job summary

MG Motors Congressional - HR Department seeks an HR Generalist to manage payroll-related tasks, benefits, leave administration, and HR initiatives within the team. The role emphasizes integrity, strong communication, and collaboration across departments.

The successful candidate will handle last pay processing, travel bookings, and maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies while supporting disciplinary processes and HR projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Knowledgeable in HR functions such as payroll, benefits, last pay processing, booking, and travel allowance.
• Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
• Proven experience as an HR Officer is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Demonstrates integrity, strong ethics, and reliability.
• Ability to take on leadership responsibilities when required.

Responsibilities

• Handles last pay processing, booking of tickets, and travel allowance arrangements.
• Supports the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
• Performs routine tasks to administer and execute human resources programs, including compensation, benefits, leave administration, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, employee productivity, recognition, and morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
• Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Assists in the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
• Maintains employee records (attendance, EEO data, etc.) in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
