Job summary

Career Connect is seeking an HR Generalist in Quezon City to manage payroll, benefits, and HR operations. You will liaise with Finance & Accounting to ensure accurate payroll remittances and government contributions, while handling employee inquiries and benefit processing.

The role requires 2+ years in HR, solid knowledge of labor laws, and the ability to coordinate with HR and Finance teams across multiple locations. Onsite in Quezon City with standard Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Psychology or HR-related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as HR Generalist or similar role.
• Willing to work in Quezon City, Araneta Ave.
• Proven experience in payroll, compensation and benefits, and labor laws.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures and staff relations.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately for all employees.
• Coordinate bank remittances and payroll advisories with Finance & Accounting Manager.
• Monitor leaves and compute cash commutation for unused leaves.
• Prepare Notices of Personnel Action for regularization and promotion with HR.
• Process government-m mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and request payments.
• Compute 13th-month pay and submit reports to Finance & Accounting.
• Prepare and submit annual Withholding Tax Report to Finance & Accounting.
• Furnish annual 13th Month Report for DOLE on schedule.
• Monitor and process government and HMO benefit claims promptly.
• Answer employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits (loans, maternity, etc.).
• Assist employees in benefit application processing and HMO registration.
• Conduct New Hire Orientation in coordination with HR Specialist.
