A Glimpse into Your New Role
LoansOne is hiring an organized, proactive and commercially minded HR Generalist to support our growing Manila team.
This is a hands on HR role covering recruitment, candidate interviewing, onboarding, employee relations, attendance, performance management support, employee records and day to day office coordination.
A major responsibility of this role is recruitment. You will be expected to actively screen applicants, conduct candidate interviews, assess suitability and manage candidates through the recruitment process rather than simply coordinating interview schedules.
You will work closely with department heads and management to ensure LoansOne hires strong people, employees are properly supported and HR processes are followed consistently.
The successful candidate must be comfortable handling sensitive employee matters while also working accurately in a fast moving and high volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Candidate Interviews
- Own the day to day recruitment process for assigned positions.
- Work with department heads to understand current vacancies, hiring priorities and candidate requirements.
- Create and coordinate job advertisements across relevant recruitment channels.
- Review applications and shortlist candidates against role requirements.
- Conduct initial candidate screening by phone, video or in person.
- Personally conduct first round job interviews and assess candidate suitability.

Office and Administrative Support

Systems and Data Administration
- Maintain accurate HR databases and administrative trackers.
- Use company systems including Zoho where required.
- Assist with employee related data entry and reporting.

Role Requirements
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 2 years of practical HR experience.
- Hands on recruitment experience.
- Previous experience personally conducting candidate interviews.
- Strong ability to assess candidates and provide hiring recommendations.

The HR Generalist will be expected to independently manage the early stages of recruitment, including:

Department heads will remain responsible for final hiring decisions where appropriate, but the HR Generalist should be capable of filtering out unsuitable candidates and presenting strong candidates for final consideration.
