Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven HR Generalist to support the day-to-day human resources operations of our growing cold chain, logistics, shipping, and warehouse business. The role is responsible for delivering HR services across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, training, engagement, and compliance.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, and capable of partnering with operations leaders to support a dynamic workforce while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Coordinate manpower requirements with department heads and operations managers.
- Maintain recruitment metrics and ensure timely filling of vacancies.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.
- Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions in accordance with company policies.
- Support employee engagement programs, recognition activities, and culture-building initiatives.
Performance Management
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of performance management programs.
- Coordinate performance evaluations and support managers in performance improvement initiatives.
- Track employee development plans and training requirements.
Compensation & Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefits, government-mandated contributions, and HR documentation.
- Coordinate with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate employee records and compensation-related transactions.
- Assist in benefits enrollment, claims processing, and employee inquiries.
Training & Organizational Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.
- Support onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Maintain training records and monitor compliance with mandatory training requirements.
HR Compliance & Administration
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, government regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare HR reports, analytics, and documentation required by management and regulatory agencies.
- Support audits and compliance reviews.
HR Support for Operations
- Partner closely with warehouse, logistics, shipping, and operations teams to address workforce requirements.
- Support workforce planning, shift scheduling coordination, and employee retention initiatives.
- Assist in implementing HR programs that improve productivity, engagement, and operational efficiency.
QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- At least 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience.
- Experience supporting logistics, cold chain, warehousing, shipping, transportation, manufacturing, or similar operational environments is highly preferred.
- Experience handling multiple HR facets including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits.
