OCEANSPEED INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS CORP. is seeking an HR Generalist in the Philippines to support day-to-day human resource functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. The role covers employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and HR administration.
You will handle disciplinary cases, maintain records, assist in payroll-related tasks, and contribute to policy development and HR projects to drive continuous improvement across the organization.
The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day human resource functions, including employee relations, compliance, recruitment, performance management, and policy implementation. This role ensures strict compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of employment legislation, disciplinary procedures, and HR best practices.
Ensure company compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and employment standards.
Provide guidance to management and employees regarding labor rules, disciplinary procedures, and workplace policies.
Handle employee grievances, investigations, and disciplinary cases in accordance with due process.
Prepare HR documentation such as notices, memoranda, contracts, and case reports.
Support hearings, mediation, and documentation of employee cases when necessary.
Manage end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
Prepare employment contracts and onboarding requirements.
Conduct orientation and ensure proper documentation of new hires.
Assist in performance review processes, monitoring of KPIs, and improvement plans.
Support implementation of disciplinary actions and performance management systems.
Maintain employee records and HR databases ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Monitor attendance, leave management, and employee movement.
Payroll
Assist in policy development and updates aligned with legal requirements.
Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
Support compliance and workplace behavior training.
Enforce company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
Participate in HR projects, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 3 years of HR Generalist experience, with strong exposure to labor law compliance and employee relations.
Proven experience handling disciplinary cases, investigations, and documentation.
Strong understanding of employment regulations, due process, and workplace compliance.
Experience in recruitment, HR administration, and performance management.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and support management decisions.
Experience in handling audits, hearings, or labor cases.
Background in policy development and compliance monitoring.
