Job summary

AboitizPower in Makati is seeking an HR Data Scientist to ensure the accuracy and reliability of people metrics that inform HR leadership and the Management Committee. You will work within the Total Rewards & Technology team to capture data at the source and transform it into trusted reporting and insights.

The role requires deep fluency in HR metrics, strong data stewardship, and the ability to drive the roadmap toward predictive analytics.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Psychology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in HR analytics, people analytics, business intelligence, or a related data function.
• Demonstrated experience with HRIS platforms, preferably SuccessFactors Employee Central, including data quality impact.
• Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in visualization/BI tools.
• Expert-level attention to detail and ability to communicate findings to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of HR metrics used in leadership decisions.
• Manage the HR metrics reporting calendar and deliver data on time to HR leadership.
• Partner with HR Technology to ensure data capture in systems like SuccessFactors with data integrity.
• Design, maintain, and improve dashboards, scorecards, and HR reports for leaders.
• Analyze engagement, turnover, recruitment, performance, and total rewards to identify trends.
• Collaborate with HR leaders to develop analytical solutions for data-driven challenges.
• Drive the roadmap toward predictive people analytics and workforce trend analysis.
• Support external data submissions with appropriate anonymization or aggregation.
• Uphold data governance and confidentiality per Data Privacy Act and internal policies.

As HR Data Scientist, you will be accountable for the accuracy, reliability, and mathematical soundness of AboitizPowers people metrics, which directly inform decision-making by HR leadership and the Management Committee; directly contributing to transforming energy for a better world. Operating within the Total Rewards & Technology team, you will work closely with HR Centers of Excellence, Business Group HR leaders, and the HR Technology team to ensure people data is captured accurately at the source and transformed into reporting and insights leaders can trust.

TheHR Data Scientist requires deep fluency in HR metrics, precision, and a strong sense of data stewardship, where analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear communication are crucial. As AboitizPowers people data infrastructure matures, you will develop and drive the roadmap toward predictive people analytics, including workforce trend analysis and data-driven insights that support strategic workforce decisions.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be

• Own the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the full suite of HR and people metrics across the organization, used in leadership and Management Committee decision-making.
• Manage the HR metrics reporting calendar, delivering people data on time to HR leadership and the HR Centers of Excellence.
• Partner with the HR Technology team to ensure HR systems, primarily SuccessFactors Employee Central, capture complete and accurate data at the source, resolving data gaps and integrity risks so that metrics require little to no manual intervention.
• Design, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards, scorecards, and reports for HR leadership and Business Group HR leaders.
• Conduct analyses of HR metrics such as engagement, turnover, recruitment, performance, and total rewards to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Collaborate with HR leaders and stakeholders to identify data-driven challenges and opportunities, and develop analytical solutions to address them.
• Develop and drive the roadmap toward predictive people analytics, including workforce trend analysis and initiative impact measurement.
• Use approved AI-assisted tools to improve the efficiency and quality of data processing, visualization, and reporting.
• Support external data submissions, including benchmarking studies and statutory reporting, ensuring data is appropriately anonymized or aggregated.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and data governance standards in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and internal information security policies.

To Succeed In This Role, We Need Someone Who Has

• A Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Psychology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in HR analytics, people analytics, business intelligence, or a related data function
• Demonstrated experience with HRIS platforms, preferably SuccessFactors Employee Central, including an understanding of how system inputs and configuration affect data quality and reporting outputs
• Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in visualization or BI tools
• Expert-level attention to detail and data accuracy, with the ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences
