Job summary

Sagility, a global BPM and tech services company, seeks an HR Compensation & Benefits Advisor for its Cigna Philippines site. The role acts as the local expert on compensation and benefits, coordinating with the Enterprise Total Rewards COE to ensure market-competitive practices and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee benefits administration, vendor management, and statutory programs such as SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG, while advising HR leaders on policies, governance, and site-specific

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in HR, business, finance, or accounting.
• Experience with compensation and benefits programs preferred.
• Familiarity with PH labor laws and statutory programs.
• Experience with Workday is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the PH compensation liaison to Cigna’s Enterprise Total Rewards COE.
• Support job pricing, market data analysis, and internal equity reviews for PH roles.
• Assist with ACP, promotions, and allowances, and governance of compensation.
• Oversee benefits administration including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, HMO, and life insurance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and partner with Payroll on statutory contributions.
• Collaborate with HR Ops and vendors to scale operations.

The Compensation & Benefits Advisor serves as the primary local subject matter expert for compensation and benefits programs supporting the Cigna Philippines site. This role acts as the on-the-ground liaison to Cigna’s Enterprise Total Rewards COE, ensuring local market execution, regulatory compliance, and consistent application of enterprise compensation and benefits strategies. The Advisor provides guidance and oversight across compensation processes, benefits administration, and statutory programs while partnering closely with HR Operations, Payroll, and vendors in a high-volume, rapidly scaling environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

Compensation Advisory & Administration

• Serve as the Philippines compensation liaison to Cigna’s Enterprise Total Rewards COE
• Support job pricing, market data analysis, and internal equity reviews for PH roles
• Execute and advise on compensation activities including:
• Annual Compensation Planning (ACP) support
• Promotions, off-cycle increases, and allowances
• Workday compensation approvals and governance
• Provide guidance to HR and leaders on compensation-related policies and practices
• Support SIP administration and ongoing incentive plan processes (may partner with HR Coordinator for admin execution)

Benefits Administration & Vendor Management

• Own local administration of benefits and statutory programs, including:
• SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG
• HMO, life insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs
• Manage benefits vendors and external partners to ensure service delivery and issue resolution
• Oversee end-to-end leave of absence (LOA) administration and complex benefits cases
• Lead benefits education and employee communication efforts in partnership with HR Ops

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, benefits regulations, and non-diminution requirements
• Partner with Payroll on statutory contributions, deductions, and regulatory reporting alignment
• Support internal reviews, audits, and documentation related to compensation and benefits programs

Cross-Functional Partnership & Advisory Support

• Partner with HR Operations on employee lifecycle events impacting pay and benefits
• Serve as an escalation point for complex compensation or benefits issues
• Support site leadership by providing insights and recommendations on total rewards matters
• Contribute to continuous improvement of compensation and benefits processes as the site matures
