The purpose of the HR Business Partner (HRBP) role is to provide strategic HR support and guidance to assigned departments, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services, aligning people strategies with business goals, and promoting a positive employee experience. The HRBP drives employee relations, talent management, and organizational development while ensuring compliance with policies and best practices. Job title: HR Business Partner - Manager.
Responsibilities
- Service Delivery
- Provides comprehensive HR service to assigned accounts and/or departments.
- Proactively advises on HR best practices and, where necessary, takes a hands-on role in closing junior-level to mid-level disciplinary actions.
- Supports the Account Lead and program managers on HR matters such as onboarding, employee relations, talent retention and engagement.
- Provides day-to-day HR service delivery and ensures adherence and compliance to HR processes and targets.
- Supports the implementation of corporate mandates and initiatives.
- Employee Relations
- Ensure the consistent implementation of the Company’s Code of Conduct and Discipline Management Process.
- Handle employee queries and concerns as escalated through HR Web, email, etc.
- Facilitate discipline management orientation and guidance sessions.
- Employee Engagement
- Conduct focus group discussions (FGD) and other feedback mechanisms to gather insights relevant to resolving employee concerns.
- Encourage participation in company events and engagement activities.
- Lead and facilitate retention discussions with employees considering leaving the company.
- Business Partnering
- Attend or hold weekly/regular touch-base meetings with assigned program managers/leaders.
- Collaborate on action items and strategy to address people-related program concerns.
- Review and analyze attrition data, headcount, reasons, market forces and costs.
- Coordinate with other HR function heads/teams to resolve payroll, movement, data and other people-related issues.
- Process admin tasks such as processing employee notices related to separation and reviewing/approving employee movements in HR systems.
- Prepare, maintain and submit reports by deadlines and suggest innovative ideas to improve systems and procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: College graduate of any Social Sciences course or equivalent education.
- Experience: At least five years of HR experience, preferably in a BPO/Call Center, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
