About the role
The HR Business Partner – Compensation & Workforce Planning will support the Country Head of HR / CHRD in strengthening stakeholder management and delivering data-driven people solutions across compensation, workforce planning, retention, and employee engagement. The role will serve as a key HR partner to business leaders and functional stakeholders, particularly in the development and costing of headcount, workforce, compensation, reward and recognition, and retention proposals. The position requires strong analytical and commercial thinking, with the ability to translate business needs into practical, financially sound HR recommendations.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders and functional stakeholders to understand workforce, organizational, and people-related requirements
- Support the CHRD in managing key stakeholder relationships and ensuring alignment between business priorities and HR solutions
- Act as a trusted HR advisor on workforce, compensation, retention, and employee-related matters
- Support the CHRD and business leaders in developing and evaluating headcount and workforce proposals
- Prepare financial impact and cost-benefit analysis for new positions, organizational changes, promotions, salary adjustments, and other workforce initiatives
- Conduct and analyze market salary benchmarking using available salary surveys, industry data, and external market references
- Review internal salary equity and identify potential compression or parity concerns
- Support the development of retention strategies and proposals for critical or high-performing talent
- Develop HR analysis and reports covering headcount, workforce costs, compensation, turnover, retention, and other people metrics
- Support the CHRD in strategic HR projects and organizational initiatives
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field
- 5–8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with a combination of HR Business Partnering and Compensation & Benefits experience
- Strong experience in compensation analysis, salary review, workforce costing, and HR analytics
- Experience in salary benchmarking or market pricing is an advantage
- Experience supporting headcount planning, organizational changes, or workforce proposals is highly desirable
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with HRIS and data analytics tools is an advantage
- Ability to handle confidential employee and compensation information with a high degree of discretion
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to interact with managers and senior stakeholders
