Job summary

Optum Philippines is seeking a diligent HR Generalist to support employee lifecycle processes, benefits administration and case management within a fast-paced environment. You will execute hiring, changes, transfers, pay changes, absences and terminations while ensuring SLA targets and accurate records in our HR systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in HR, with strong knowledge of local labor laws (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and proficient Excel/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• 2+ years of HR Generalist, HR Benefits Admin, or related HR experience.
• Experience with case management, HR inquiries and support services.
• Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process employee lifecycle changes in HR system.
• Execute HR processes including hiring, changes, transfers, pay changes, absences and terminations with SLA targets.
• Support records management: sorting, scanning, indexing, invoicing.
• May rotate across HR Operations and Payroll sub-functions.
• End-to-end benefits administration for SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and related items.
• Resolve service requests and document in Case Management Tool.
• Escalate complex cases as needed and ensure policy compliance.
• Perform quality audits and maintain relationships across levels.
• Troubleshoot employee inquiries with Tier-1 and other support functions.
