About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Staff member to join the team at Vista Marina Hotel, operating under FOD Corporation. This is a full-time position based in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales. As Housekeeping Staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort and presentation throughout our hotel facilities. Your work directly contributes to creating memorable experiences for our guests and upholding the reputation of Vista Marina Hotel as a premier hospitality destination.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established hotel standards and procedures
• Change bed linens, towels and other guest room amenities daily and as required
• Restock guest room supplies including toiletries, stationery and other consumables
• Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report any damages or repairs needed to management
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors and dust surfaces throughout assigned areas
• Empty and dispose of waste and recyclables in designated areas
• Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping storage areas and properly organise cleaning supplies and equipment
• Respond promptly to guest requests and special cleaning needs
• Adhere to health, safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping team members and hotel staff to ensure smooth operations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality or a related cleaning role, preferably in a hotel or similar establishment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift and carry items, and work on your feet for extended periods
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently to meet daily cleaning schedules
• Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends as required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with guests and colleagues
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety protocols
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
