Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Clean guest rooms, common areas, hallways and public spaces to high hygiene standards
• Change bed linens and towels daily in guest accommodations
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust assigned areas
• Sanitise bathrooms including toilets, sinks, showers and bathtubs
• Restock toiletries, towels and amenities in rooms and bathrooms
• Report maintenance issues promptly to supervision
• Respond to guest requests for towels, pillows or items promptly
• Follow health, safety and sanitation protocols at all times
• Collaborate with team to complete daily housekeeping tasks
• Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping equipment and storage areas

About the role

Polystar Manpower Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Male to join our team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to maintain and enhance the cleanliness and comfort of our facilities. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will play an essential role in ensuring that our guests and visitors experience an immaculate environment that reflects our commitment to excellence in the hospitality and tourism industry.

What you'll be doing

• Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, common areas, hallways and public spaces to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation
• Changing bed linens, towels and other items in guest accommodations on a daily basis
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and dusting all assigned areas
• Sanitising bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers and bathtubs
• Restocking supplies such as toiletries, towels and other amenities in guest rooms and bathrooms
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damages or repairs needed to supervisory staff promptly
• Responding to guest requests for additional towels, pillows or other items in a timely manner
• Following health, safety and sanitation protocols at all times
• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient completion of daily housekeeping tasks
• Maintaining cleanliness of housekeeping equipment and storage areas

What we're looking for

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hospitality setting is preferred
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the working day
• Ability to lift, push and pull items weighing up to 15 kg regularly
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently within set timeframes
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established procedures and protocols
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices
