Job summary

Polystar Manpower Services in Paranaque City, Metro Manila, seeks a Housekeeping Operation Manager to oversee all housekeeping activities for a premium hospitality establishment. This full-time role focuses on maintaining exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction while guiding a dedicated team across the property's rooms and public areas.

You will implement policies, monitor health and safety protocols, manage stock and budgets, and train staff to uphold high standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in housekeeping operations or management within a hospitality setting
• Proven leadership skills to supervise and develop a team
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and standards
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Sound understanding of health, safety, sanitation and compliance requirements
• Proficiency with relevant property management software or systems
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with guests and staff
• Customer-focused mindset and commitment to guest experiences
• Problem-solving ability and proactive approach to addressing issues
• Physical capability to perform duties and work across the property
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Preferred hospitality management certification or equivalent qualification

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards
• Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures aligned with company standards
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces for quality compliance
• Manage inventory and procurement of supplies, equipment, and materials
• Schedule and coordinate staff assignments, shifts, and leave management
• Address guest complaints and maintenance issues with swift resolution
• Maintain records and reports on operations, staff performance, and quality metrics
• Implement and monitor health, safety, and sanitation protocols across housekeeping
• Conduct staff training on techniques, guest service, and safety
• Monitor labour costs, budgets, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with front office, maintenance, and management to optimise guest satisfaction
