Job summary

Shangri-La The Fort, Manila is seeking a Hygiene & Sanitation Specialist to oversee the highest cleanliness standards across F&B operations and guest areas, ensuring all served foods meet safety standards.

Candidates should have a degree in Food Tech, Microbiology, or Biology and at least 3 years in a international hotel, with auditing and inspection skills, and fluency in English. Flexibility in shifts and dedication to professional hygiene practices are essential.

Qualifications

Preferably a college graduate with a degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or Biology.
Minimum 3 years experience in an international hotel in the same capacity.
Preferably with auditing and inspection skills.
Knowledge of Hygiene and Sanitation practices.
Fluency in English (oral and written).
Ability to work across flexible schedules.
Right to unrestricted employment in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

Maintain the highest standards of sanitation and hygiene in the hotel.
Ensure all food served is free of microbiological, chemical, and physical contamination.
Ensure work areas meet local health authority requirements.
