Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related position preferred.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work in a hotel/resort environment and support the team during busy periods.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, recording, and filing of accounting documents and financial transactions.
• Encode and maintain accurate records of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and disbursements.
• Verify invoices, receipts, purchase orders, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly accounting reports.
• Perform data entry and maintain organized accounting files and records.
• Assist with bank, cash, and other account reconciliations.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts and supporting documents.
• Assist in checking and recording hotel/resort revenues, expenses, and other financial transactions.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding billing, documentation, and accounting concerns.
• Assist in the preparation of schedules and supporting documents for month-end and year-end closing.
