Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks a detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Staff to support daily accounting and finance operations. The role involves assisting with VAT and EWT, preparing BIR reports, LOA documents, and maintaining books and schedules, with emphasis on accuracy and confidentiality.

You will work with a team to ensure timely financial reporting, learn tax compliance, and gain exposure to AP/AR processes while developing accounting skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, or related field is required.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, trustworthy and able to handle confidential information.
• Willingness to learn and grow in accounting.
• Experience in AP, AR, or general accounting is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly EWT and VAT.
• Prepare QAP, SLS, SAWT, 1604-E, and other required BIR reports.
• Assist in preparing BIR LOA documents and requirements.
• Assist in processing and monitoring BIR, LGU, and other government taxes, licenses, and permits.
• Maintain and update the Books of Accounts and accountable forms.
• Prepare and maintain accounting documents and supporting schedules.
• Assist in the analysis and preparation of bank reconciliations.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.
