Job summary

ZALORA Philippines is seeking an Executive of Health and Safety to oversee and implement comprehensive safety initiatives across facilities and operations. You will ensure compliance with health and safety standards, lead risk assessments, and drive improvements through audits and training.

Office-based role with responsibility for coordinating safety programs and incident investigations in a dynamic retail/e-commerce environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Safety Compliance experience.
• Experience with safety programs, audits, and regulatory alignment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, perform basic and routine duties in health and safety disciplines to achieve compliance with company standards and local regulations.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety programs, systems, and procedures.
• Make regular inspections throughout the facility area and monitor hazards present in the work area.
• Assist in compiling Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) reports for business leadership.
• Investigate accidents, injuries, and complaints and record findings.
• Provide corrective and preventive action plans for identified hazards.
• Participate in safety audits and recommend improvements in processes, design, procedures, and equipment.
• Coordinate employee training and emergency preparedness programs, and ensure training records are maintained.
• Assist in data collection and reporting for environmental reporting and special projects.
• Support security policies and program implementation and coordinate training needs analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• AccomplishHIRAC(HazardIdentificationRiskAssessmentControl)Reportstobe presentedtothebusinessleaders.
• Workwithotherstoinvestigateandrecordaccidents,injuriesandcomplaintsconcerning hazardsintheworkplace.
• Providesuggestionsandactionplans(correctiveandpreventive)foridentifiedaccidents, injuriesandhazardsintheworkplace.

• Mandatory40hoursbasicOSHtrainingcourseapplicabletoIndustry.
• Additional48hoursofadvance/specializedoccupationalsafetytrainingcourserelevant totheIndustry.
• Theabilitytoworkthroughalladministrativeresponsibilitiesandareextremelywell organized.
• Exceptionalprioritizationskills;abletohandlecomplexproblemsandchallenges.
