Ataraxis is seeking a Healthcare Virtual Assistant to support a US-based mental health practice in a fully remote capacity. The role focuses on patient communication, scheduling for multiple therapists, verifying benefits, and keeping front-office operations organized in a fast-paced virtual environment.

Candidates should have at least 2 years US healthcare administrative experience, knowledge of SimplePractice, excellent verbal and written English, and a detail-oriented, coachable mindset.

• SimplePractice experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Organized, reliable, coachable, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable with productivity monitoring software.

Do you have experience supporting a US-based mental health or behavioral health practice? We're looking for an experienced Healthcare Virtual Assistant to join a growing mental health team.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer patient calls, texts, and callbacks
• Schedule appointments for multiple therapists
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• Review and submit claims in SimplePractice
• Support daily front-office operations and collaborate with the team

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of US healthcare administrative experience
• Mental health/behavioral health practice experience is strongly preferred
• Experience with patient scheduling and insurance verification
• SimplePractice experience
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Organized, reliable, coachable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable with productivity monitoring software
