Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in medical billing, charge posting, or healthcare revenue cycle operations.
• Hands-on experience with batch processing, visit list management, and charge log review.
• Familiarity with healthcare systems, EHR, and reporting tools (concurrency reports, cube data).
• Experience meeting month-end closing schedules and deadlines.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and data integrity standards.

Responsibilities

• Batch Review and Validation: Check completed batches in the visit list for accuracy.
• Batch Posting: Post batches on time, adhering to month-end timelines.
• Data Integrity and Compliance: Prevent posting of suspense and zero-fee batches; maintain records.
• Batch Cleanup: Delete empty batches after confirming no patient records are linked.
• Reporting and Monitoring: Run concurrency reports and analyze data to identify discrepancies.
