Job summary

Ventra Health is seeking a Concurrency Processing Specialist to ensure accurate and timely processing of batches within the visit list and charge log. This role involves reviewing, posting, and cleaning up batches while maintaining month-end schedules and organizational standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle operations, with experience in batch processing, visit list management, and reporting tools, including EHR knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field.
• Equivalent work experience in healthcare revenue cycle or billing may be considered.
• 1–2 years in medical billing, charge posting, or healthcare revenue cycle operations.
• Hands-on batch processing, visit list management, and charge log review.
• Familiarity with healthcare systems, EHR, and reporting tools (concurrency reports, cube data).
• Experience with month-end closing schedules and deadlines.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and data integrity standards.

Responsibilities

• BatchReview and Validation: check batches in the visit list for accuracy.
• BatchPosting: post batches promptly adhering to month-end timelines.
• DataIntegrity and Compliance: prevent posting of suspense and zero-fee batches.
• BatchCleanup: delete empty batches after ensuring no linked patient records.
• Reporting and Monitoring: run concurrency reports and analyze data for discrepancies.
