Job summary

Enshored, Inc. is seeking a Billing Care Service specialist to manage end-to-end billing claims in EMRs and proprietary software, identify revenue opportunities, and collaborate with the Ministry of Health to ensure timely government paperwork completion.

You will support daily operations, analyze billing data, and maintain strong customer relationships through inquiries via our support channels, contributing to service innovation and process improvements.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of customer service experience for English-speaking businesses/clients
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with clear pronunciation
Background in healthcare, collections, and/or billing is an advantage
Experience in medical billing and working with EMRs in Ontario is an advantage
Knowledge of the healthcare system is an asset
Experience with tools such as Excel, Salesforce, EMRs, or medical billing software

Responsibilities

Submit, update, and reconcile billing claims and errors in EMRs and DoctorCare's proprietary billing software
Identify billing and revenue opportunities for customers
Liaise with the Ministry of Health to answer questions and resolve billing errors
Assist customers with government paperwork accurately and on time
Maintain positive relationships with customers via support channels
Listen to customer needs and suggest improvements to the team
Look for ways to streamline service delivery and ask, Is there a better way?
Monitor KPIs and customer satisfaction across services
Submit, monitor, and reconcile OHIP claims per OHIP Schedule of Benefits
Identify, investigate, and resolve rejected or adjusted claims
