Eastvantage Business Solutions Inc. is seeking a Medical Biller to bridge the billing department and third party payers to resolve overdue claims and collect payments. You will ensure accurate billing and efficient revenue cycle processes within our healthcare organization.

You will monitor accounts for overdue payments, correct errors, communicate with payers and patients, analyze denial trends, and use EMR and billing software to improve collections while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of experience in medical billing and collections.
• Experience with third-party payers (VA, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, Worker's Compensation).
• Experience with revenue cycle management.
• Experience with UB04 and HCFA 1500 forms.
• Familiarity with EMR systems.
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 codes.
• Proficiency in billing software and EHR.
• Proficiency in reading ERAs and EOBs.
• Strong HIPAA compliance knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and correct errors in claims.
• Communicate with team, payers, and customers regarding claims via phone and email.
• Identify trends in claim rejections and partial payments to create resolutions.
• Prioritize denials and partial payments to meet timely filing limits.
• Leverage reporting tools for data analysis and targeted action plans.
• Utilize CPT and ICD-10 codes to ensure accurate billing.
• Process and reprocess medical claims per payer regulations and guidelines.
