• 2+ years of experience in healthcare accounts receivable, insurance follow-up, or denial management.
• Hands-on experience with commercial and governmental payers.
• Knowledge of corrected claims, appeals, payer requirements, and timely filing limits.

Responsabilités

• Examine AR aging reports and follow up on outstanding insurance claims.
• Prepare and submit corrected claims, ensuring payer requirements and deadlines.
• Contact insurers to check claim status, investigate delays, and address underpayments.
• Resolve denied/rejected claims by researching reasons and pursuing appeals.
• Gather documentation and coordinate with billing, coding, and clinical teams.
• Identify recurring denial patterns and suggest process improvements.
• Maintain records of follow-ups, payer communications, and resolutions.
