Job summary

World Health Organization Philippines is seeking a national health financing expert to provide technical support in policy analysis, health financing analytics, stakeholder engagement, and evidence generation. The consultant will help implement priority health financing initiatives in collaboration with DOH, PhilHealth and partners.

The assignment covers policy briefs, data-informed policy development, and capacity building for national and subnational actors, with a focus on Universal Health

Qualifications

• Essential: University degree in health financing, health economics, health policy, health systems, economics or related field.
• Desirable: Post-graduate degree in health financing, health economics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance in policy analysis and health financing analytics.
• Develop and implement priority health financing initiatives with DOH, PhilHealth and partners.
• Produce policy briefs, technical reports and presentations for diverse audiences.
• Support data-informed decision making and capacity building among DOH and PSA.
