Job summary

World Health Organization Philippines is seeking a national health financing expert to provide policy analysis, health financing analytics and stakeholder engagement to accelerate Universal Health Care reforms in collaboration with DOH and PhilHealth. This is a full-time consultancy based in Manila for 11 months.

Responsibilities include developing priority health financing initiatives, producing policy briefs and data-driven insights to support national decisions.

Qualifications

Essential: University degree in health financing, health policy, health systems, economics or related
Desirable: Post-graduate degree in health financing or related field
Essential: At least five years of health financing policy development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation or analytics
Desirable: Experience with government agencies or UN/IDOs and health financing reforms

Responsibilities

Provide technical assistance in policy analysis and health financing analytics
Engage with DOH, PhilHealth and partners to advance UNA and related initiatives
Develop policy briefs, technical reports and knowledge products for technical and non-technical audiences
