Job summary

GCash seeks a senior professional to partner with the CRO in designing and embedding advanced risk management practices across the organization. The role focuses on operational risk oversight, governance, and the implementation of risk tools to strengthen enterprise-wide risk posture.

You will lead planning and collaboration across teams to shape policy, framework, and long-term risk strategies while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Chief Risk Officer in designing, embedding, and implementing continuous enhancements to Risk Management functions.
• Fosters a management philosophy and culture aligned with effective risk management throughout the organization.
• Spearheads and oversees enterprise-wide operational risk identification and assessment.
• Utilizes ORM tools including RCSA, PRA, KRI, Incident Management, Issue and Action Management.
• Ensures the comprehensive implementation of all Risk Tools.
• Leads business planning activities for Risk Management and shapes strategies for the Risk Group.
• Contributes insights to work plans and assigned areas; supports short, mid, and long-term RG strategies.
• Formulates and implements operational risk management strategies and ensures adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develops and reviews the Risk Management Framework and contributes to Policies and Guidelines mandated by regulators.
• Reviews risk reports and escalates issues to CRO, Senior Management, and the Board as needed.
• Escalates key risks and non-compliance incidents through the CRO to ensure effective management.
• Validates gap analyses against regulations and coordinates addressing gaps.
